ESAB OK 75.75 VP (E11018-G) LMA Electrode

ESAB OK 75.75 VP (E11018-G) is a low-moisture, high-strength, low-alloy electrode for demanding structural welding. Featuring VacPac™ technology, the electrode remains moisture-free, eliminating the need for re-baking and ensuring consistent weld quality. Its design prevents hydrogen-induced cracking, making it ideal for low-alloy steels. In addition, the electrode delivers excellent mechanical properties, providing high strength and durability in extreme environments.

Key Features of ESAB OK 75.75

  • VacPac™ Technology: Keeps electrodes moisture-free, preventing hydrogen-induced cracking and also ensuring consistent weld quality without re-baking.
  • Low Moisture Absorption (LMA): Minimizes hydrogen content, significantly reducing the risk of weld cracking and porosity.
  • High-Strength Welds: Provides a yield strength of 780 MPa and tensile strength of 830 MPa for durable, strong welds.
  • Versatile Applications: Suitable for structural welding in low-alloy steels, in addition to high-strength fabrication, and heavy-duty industrial applications.
  • Basic Coating: Ensures stable arcs, excellent slag removal, and also controlled weld pools for smooth and precise welding.
  • Impact Resistance: Delivers 60 J at -40°C, ensuring superior toughness in cold and harsh environments.

Applications

  • Structural Welding: Ideal for welding heavy-duty structures, bridges, and offshore platforms, ensuring strength and longevity.
  • High-Strength Steel Fabrication: Suitable for fabricating high-strength, low-alloy steels, offering enhanced durability and toughness.
  • Pressure Vessels: Provides reliable welds in pressure vessel manufacturing, therefore ensuring safety and strength in critical applications.
  • Offshore Construction: Perfect for welding marine structures exposed to corrosive environments and extreme conditions.
